First of all, thanks for taking the time out to read our blog. In the coming weeks we will be adding further bits and bobs on to this site but we're new to this so it looks a bit bland at the moment.
My brother and I have set ourselves the challenging task of cycling 900 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End in 9 days this coming August. We have both completed two marathons (focusing more on raising money for our charity Parkinson's UK rather than finishing with a strong time; 5'59 in Edinburgh 2010 and 5'27 in Paris 2011) and therefore have a relative amount of phyiscal fitness and mental strength. But cycling 100 miles in a day will be tough. And then getting up and doing it all again the next day. And the day after that...
Once again we're raising money for Parkinson's UK - please donate whatever you can at www.justgiving.com/saczakbros.
To be honest, we know nothing about bikes. But we did pass the cycling proficiency course in primary school so this should be a breeze!
In the coming days we will post a few pictures of us and tell you a bit about who we are and what we do, along with the plans of us mapping out our assault on the JOGLE course.
